  • Right here in the USA. Some products can be bought cheaper overseas, but our feeling is that negatively impacts the oversight during production. This item is too important to have a mistake, and so we make ours here in the USA.

  • No, there is a small plastic clip at the top that gets popped up, and you just point and shoot like a can of spray paint.

  • Yes! Elderly people often struggle to move quickly to another room to get a fire extinguisher - or to even hold the large heavy extinguishers. These cans can be placed close by, and are small and lightweight - making them the first choice for the elderly.

  • The can is small - about the size of a can of hairspray. These makes it easy to put around the house without being too noticeable, and makes it easy to use for the elderly or the young.

  • The can should not be left in areas where extreme heat is present. Like any can holding a compressed product, extended exposure to high heat can cause leakage. Some of our customers who like to travel with The Perfect Stop in their glove compartments set the can in a plastic bag. Please note, the can should be checked before every trip, and if any leakage is detected, the can should be replaced.

  • Yes. The foam is biodegradable and non toxic.

  • The Perfect Stop is extremely quick in suppressing a fire. The foam stifles the source, and makes reignition very difficult. So not only does it allow you to fight the fire quicker, it provides a better suppression than water and many powders.

  • Yes, The Perfect Stop is excellent in outdoor situations. And because it is biodegradable and non-toxic, there are no concerns of polluting or time consuming cleanup.

  • The best place for The Perfect Stop is the mostly likely place for a fire to break out. 49% of the house fires start in the kitchen, so having them in kitchen cabinets is a great start. Other high risk locations the garage, workshop, grilling areas and outdoor spots with campfires.

  • Our recommendation is one per high risk location. This generally comes out to 4-8 cans per household.

  • No, it is very simple and can be done with a standard rag or towel. Sometimes people are hesitant to use a powder fire extinguisher due to the enormous mess it creates, and the seconds lost are the difference. The Perfect Stop has absolutely zero worry on the clean up.

  • Check cans weekly to ensure they have not been dropped, damaged or punctured. In the event of any damage, replace immediately.

    This product is meant to quickly extinguish small fires. It is not meant to extinguish large fires. 

    The Perfect Stop does not replace the need for fire extinguishers. It is simply an added layer of protection, to allow a faster response.
